Changing Cultures,
One Conversation at a Time
I’m Julian Troian, a leadership strategist, educator, and human transformation catalyst with nearly 30 years of international experience in HR, leadership, and organizational culture.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with leaders and teams across industries and continents to build workplaces where people feel safe to think, speak, and grow, because I’ve seen that when organizations shift their culture, everything else follows.
Through CoreShift, I help organizations move from people-dependent performance to principle-driven cultures where trust, accountability, and psychological safety become the foundation for sustainable success. My approach draws on insights from neuroscience, psychological safety, and positive psychology inspired by Martin Seligman, translating these concepts into practical ways for leaders and teams to collaborate more effectively.
As a lecturer at Sacred Heart University Luxembourg, SDA Bocconi School of Management, and HEC Liège Luxembourg, and having taught at several other business schools, I focus on bridging theory and practice, helping executives not only understand the science of leadership but apply it to get things done, improve performance, and shape healthier, more adaptive organizations.
Fluent in Italian, German, English, French, and Spanish, I bring a truly international perspective shaped by experience across the financial sector, industry, start-up and scale-up ecosystems, and retail business. This multicultural background allows me to connect with diverse audiences and adapt solutions to each organization’s unique context.
With global engagement trends dropping year after year, the hardest part for many companies is understanding where the real pain lies, what’s truly holding people back. I can help you uncover that, and get started with innovative tools, transformative workshops, and team learning experiences that introduce new ways of working and make them stick.
Why CoreShift?
I started CoreShift as a side activity, but truly, it’s my passion.
What drives me is seeing people thrive at work, feeling engaged, proud, and genuinely happy to be where they are.
We’re living through what Gallup calls a global engagement crisis.
Only about 23% of employees worldwide say they feel engaged at work, meaning most people are just going through the motions.
The cost? Gallup estimates that low engagement drains the global economy of over $8 trillion a year in lost productivity, turnover, and absenteeism.
The bad news: if you’re reading this, your organization may be feeling some of that slowing growth, rising turnover, or low morale.
The good news: it’s easier than you think to become better than average.
With a few conscious shifts, you can build a culture where people feel safe, connected, and energized, and that alone makes your company stand out as a great place to work and grow.
